Rachel:
All right, thank you so much guys. Well, our next guest is internationally renowned for helping you look younger without surgery. And he was last year's winner for the best non-surgical makeover in the country. And plastic surgeon and Botched star, Dr. Paul Nassif, was one of the celebrity judges. Joining us now is Dr. Gary Lee from Look Younger MD. How you doing, sir?

Dr. Gary Lee:
Good, thank you. Thank you, Rachel, nice to meet you.

Rachel:
Well listen, we all want to look younger, pain-free, no surgery. Congratulations on the big honor you just got last year.

Dr. Gary Lee:
Oh, well thank you. What we found out was, the very best plastic surgeons were actually in surgery all the time, and so what they were doing is they were giving all of their nonsurgical procedures, their assistants were doing it. So what we decided to do is, we decided that we're going to specialize in helping you look younger without surgery. And now we're the instructor for the state of Nevada to teach doctors and nurses how to do Botox, how to do Juvéderm, how to do Restylane, Dysport, microneedling and PRP, platelet rich plasma.

Rachel:
Because still like injectables are probably the top most popular way to reduce aging without going under the knife, right?

Dr. Gary Lee:
Oh yeah. They're actually incredibly popular because again, you can get that done and you can go back to work. If you go under the knife, that's not going to happen right away.

Rachel:
But you said you've got some little tools here and toys basically that helps get that look. But pain free, right?

Dr. Gary Lee:
Okay. I'll show you my toys. Okay. Here's the first one. And if you look at it, it's called an AccuVein. And what I'm going to do is, can I have your arm?

Rachel:
Oh no, sure.

Dr. Gary Lee:
Now take a look. We can, if you look, we can see your blood vessels underneath the skin and you can watch mine either right there?

Rachel:
Oh yeah.

Dr. Gary Lee:
Isn't that cool? Now what it does, it uses two lasers and the lasers show the hemoglobin in their blood. Now, if you're bent down and they draw your blood and they keep missing...

Rachel:
That's horrible.

Dr. Gary Lee:
This is a godsend.

Rachel:
That's a great thing.

Dr. Gary Lee:
Now what do we do at cosmetically, we put it on the face and I look at your face and I go, okay, well you have a blood vessel there so we're not going to inject there. So we're one of the few places in Nevada that actually do that that's not in a hospital that has one of these.

Rachel:
Nice.

Dr. Gary Lee:
It's pretty cool toy.

Rachel:
So you probably get better results too with the injections and some of them, are there big differences out there right now? Like between Dysport or Botox? What do you think are the best things for looking younger?

Dr. Gary Lee:
Well, here's the thing. I am the instructor for the Botox and a Dysport company.

Rachel:
Wow.

Dr. Gary Lee:
And so what happens is we use that right here in your forehead. I think we've got a picture there. You look on the screen.

Rachel:
Wow.

Dr. Gary Lee:
There's a gal that we treated. It took us three months to get her from the left side to the right size.

Rachel:
What did you use there? Injections or fillers?

Dr. Gary Lee:
The first thing was injections because you have to lift the volume up. And what we did then is we have to do, we call that our triple. We did microneedling, platelet rich plasma, some people call it the vampire facelift.

Rachel:
Wow.

Dr. Gary Lee:
And then also we did, there's another gal there, and if you look at her before and her after picture.

Rachel:
They're like face lifts, really the results of face lifts.

Dr. Gary Lee:
Here's the thing. I actually told her she needed a face lift because if you look at her...

Rachel:
Yeah.

Dr. Gary Lee:
It's cheaper for her to do a facelift. But she told me, Dr. Lee, I'm scared of surgery.

Rachel:
Yeah.

Dr. Gary Lee:
She's seen horrible plastic surgery and she says, "I trust you." And I said, "Okay." So we, we managed to do that for her and her whole personality changed.
